Writing Effective Content

I recently read a fantastic article by Matt Jackson from WebWiseWords on how to write effective website content. Some key points i'd like to share with you is that internet readers today want to get straight to the point. So what used to be the conclusion at the end of a story, now should be at the beginning. In the article he used the word Inverted Pyramid that made complete sense. Starting with the main point you're trying to get across to your customers then everything below that is explaining these points in detail.

In today's times we want things fast which in turn brought every search engine to "real-time" search. So our words must be short and simple. Get the point across, use bullets and lists, use that header so people know where it is they are and what it is they're reading about.

Give readers what they want; concise, easy to read content that will give the reader the information they need as quick as they need it.
